One of my favourite kettles is this one made by 'Eve Ware'. It has an offset lid to make filling easy and it has a waxed cord covered handle. Details of it can be found here.
Trangia kettle scored at a thrift store for $2. First run here, brewing coffee out in the empire of dirt on a Chinese gassie. Expediency was valued above tradition, lot going on today.
This is my favourite kettle (but not the one I use the most): See a full description of this very interesting kettle here: https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/jd-jackson-kettle-australia.34909/ The kettle I use the most, camping and bushwalking, is this anodised aluminium “Fire Marple” 1.5l with a heat exchanger: See here: https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/testing-my-newly-acquired-fire-maple-1-5l-kettle.30926/ Cheers Tony
I forgot to post about this, but when I bought my bargain Enders 9061D it came with this copper kettle: It's nothing special and it's quite small, but it polished up nicely. It had a leak under the spout purely because of bad craftsmanship but I fixed that with some careful soldering and now it holds water. Anyone want it? It would be fine for a couple out camping - plenty of water for two cups of tea/coffee!
I must admit that I was a bit jealous as I didn’t own a kettle ! Being a coffee guy I did not really need one ! Anyway I was looking for one and it arrived today !! A small Victorian copper kettle . With another addition to my coffee pots collection ! On a 96 for size . Regards all Alain
