Is this tank off a Radius 2-burner? If so, what model? 1. The stove burners are Radius, regulated, internal pricker burners. 2. The tank has a Radius filler cap, and an Optimus pressure release screw. 3. The stove could be an Australian mash up. Any information gratefully appreciated. Cheers Tony
Radius did not make a double burner in that configuration. However, as you know, Australian companies used parts from Svea and Radius to produce their own stoves.
@shagratork Thanks. My guess at seeing it first hand was that it was an Australian ‘bitsa’ stove. It needs some work to get operating again, but I’ll put it at the front of the queue because of its oddness. The tank and pipes doesn't look swedish at all - Radius seems to be the most frequent brand on the aftermarket of that type of burner until that brand was discontinued.
I’ve been a bit absent from the stove fettling scene over the last few weeks. I’ve been over at the CPL side of things working on Australian-made Gloria lanterns and lamps. I’ve decided it’s time to get this Australian compilation of a stove going. It needs some soldering and brazing work, but it should be up and running in the not too distant future. I am curious why regulating burners would require a pressure release screw on the fuel spout? I don't recall seeing that elsewhere.
I have a pressure release on my brass Kerosene stove and am glad I have it. Makes a simpler way to vent pressure that unscrewing that big fuel tank cap.
Wim The bars appear to be used as “potholders”. On the back of the box there are two hinges that looked like they once held something that could be swung up and down to rest pots on. I might design my own device to fit those hinges. @Wolf This stove is made up of Sievert (the burners), Optimus (filler cap), unmarked and workshop made parts (as I’ve identified so far). So the filller tube is from some brand of kerosene stove or other. As it is, I also like having both a regulated burner and the pressure release on a kerosene stove. Cheers (@Wim)

I know there are significant differences, but as already mentioned, surely the design was based on the Optimus Campingo 2? Here is mine.
