Here is an example of a Manaslu 96. It is the small size of the line of classic stoves produced in Japan by Quality stoves. A very well made stove it has small size with output compared to a Optimus 00. This stove has number codes on both the burner and fount. 704 burner, 703 fount. I surmise as others do that it may relate to Year "7" 2017 and 03 / 04 as March and April.
I would agree with Mark. I received a Manaslu 96 today which had ‘704’ stamped on the burner and ‘705’ on the fount. My burner thus comes from the 2017 April burner batch and the fount comes from the 2017 May fount batch. Mark and I have Manaslu 96 burners from the 2017 April batch. which supports this dating convention.
