Your tank looks like one that Sievert offered and not like Primus tank of same size (not that your tank is a "Sievert" model, more later). ------------ IF it is your single burner that is labeled Primus 2080... thank you for that, it's a 1st as far as I know (propane is not covered much here). Your 2080, most of it, is formed from 1 pressed sheet. May indicate later version -or- Devil's advocate might say economy version, in either case, approx. year unknown, for now. On behalf of your request I reviewed the 2 1964 catalogs (subscription needed). An aside: By 1963 Primus had ended production of all paraffin and petrol stoves. "Primus" propane apparatus/stove manufacturing continued into 1966. In 1966 Primus and Sievert merged forming Primus-Sievert AB. "Primus continued to make LP gas stoves under their own name". All that to explain your > tank's appearance (not valve) is a match to a "Sievert" tank in a '64 catalog. If it was offered after '66 I do not know maker name or model # it might have been given. **edit: in 64 Primus tanks did not have a valve, Sievert tanks included valve atop of tank (unless i'm missing something).
