Fuel flask XXL size from Sievert

    I know, this threads fits better under Stove Paraffinalia. But I just love the size of this flaska, supposted to keep your fuel in it. Made by Sievert. Blowtorch for size ref.
    Not for your weekend hike, 4 liters or aprox 7 pints.

    That's a lot of fuel-maybe good for a week of camping.

    Based on same tank as my big Sievert blowlamp, it has the regular soldering iron holder on top.

    Yes, I suspected something like that, but thisone has no palace för fasteners and have a central hole for the fuel

    WOW!! That's one fantastic Sievert fuel carrier/tank!! I know it's pure fantasy, but, the second I saw that first photo, the idea of a "KING OF THE KAP ARCTIC" conversions came to mind!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: ;);) :lol: :lol: :lol: No, seriously!! I wonder if something like that could be cobbled from your lovely brass tank?!! OK.... maybe only partially serious!     Same pressings and markings but different holes...

    My blowlamp is slightly lighter than my FL6 lantern so with strong arms and some motivation it could be used for a camping stove:lol::lol::lol:
