    Hello, jcmilhazes,

Welcome to CCS!! WOW!! You have a wonderful collection of stoves, and have done a fantastic job of presenting them, too! Thanks, very much, for sharing them with us. Are many of the brands native to your Country? Quite a few of them are new to me. Again, excellent job, and thanks, again, for sharing your fine collection with us!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark

Wonderful collection. The only Portuguese stoves we see as a practical matter are Hipolitos, which in turn are among my favorites.

I would be most interested in the question as to whether or not any stoves or burners are in production still in Portugal, and wonder whether or not you might have such information.
Hipolito it is said went out of production in 1999, but there were occasional statements made, and rumors floating about, that the tooling had been preserved, that former employees were setting up shop to produce again, etc. etc.
Then one has also heard of Patria burners as being Portuguese and still, or recently, being in production.
And I've always wondered about Basecamp's new "European" made keroburners; they look a lot like my Hipolito #2.
Do you have any information, as a Portuguese stove aficionado?
