    Recently I purchased an M-1950 Rogers 1964 field stove. I've begun disassembly, removed the burner/preheater cup but the generator stays attached to the burner/preheater cup. Any idea how to remove the generator?? Thank ahead of time. Kevin

    @brewguy

    There is a complete maintenance manual for the M1950 (many pages) in the Reference Library.

    You need to be a Subsciber to access this.

    Someone here might give you the answer you’re looking for.

    I found one online. Once I saw that it was able to unscrew I quickly figured out the issue was it was stuck and stuck tightly. I soaked where the burner screws into the generator with both penetrate oil and carb cleaner. I'll keep reapplying every day for a week. Hopefully....

    Try this: Remove the burner cage/frame, re-attach the generator, put on a leather glove to grip the burner and unscrew it from the generator.
