    This was my Christmas present to myself. I can't resist new, shiny and unfired, this seemed to tick all boxes.:lol: The tank is steel, I'm not that familiar with this specific model, so perhaps they all had steel tanks? I think everything is there as it would have been when bought new, the "M" jet is installed in the burner and the spare jet marked "A" I assume is for alcohol used along with the sliding restrictor.

    @Matthew92

    That’s a great find.

    Is there a date stamp anywhere on the paperwork?

    @Tony Press I’ve had a good look around but I can’t see anything. I see there is an 8r in the gallery which has the same design box and that is date stamped inside 1985, unfortunately there is nothing like that on this one. I am guessing, but I would think my stove is late 80’s going into the 90’s.

    Nice to see that unfired, and great photos.

    I just purchased one, apparently, using it smokes up the label which is all but hidden by the soot, and I wonder how to clean it.
