    Hi

New member from Gloucester here. I've got a Primus lookalike and a couple of Chinese single burner wick stoves.

I've just bought a Valor 16 twin burner table top cooker of eBay for £11. But I'm having trouble finding any info about it. I realise it's not exactly a camping stove but I don't know where else to ask.
One burner won't work unless the stove is perfectly level and the other takes an age to boil a litre of water (20 minutes or more).
Does anyone know what wick I should use. Basecamp don't mention the stove.

    Thanks

    Malc

First, welcome to CCS. It's best to include a picture with an inquiry such as this. I am unfamiliar with the Valor 16 but if you need wicks check out Miles' Valor page: Miles Stair's Wick Shop
Scroll down to item 139 and it looks like you need kindler wicking. It's a strip of woven fiberglass that you'll need to cut to fit the burner.
Gravity fed kerosene stoves need to be kept level as you've seen.
    Good luck,
    Ray

Thanks. I'm a little unsure how to attach a photo otherwise I would have done.
