A fellow forum member (Milehigh) and I are from the Fort Collins, CO area. We are discussing the possibility of hosting a gathering in late August of 2020. At this point we are wanting to know if there is any interest in the event.

We are thinking that for the first gathering a short event of 1.5 - 2 days near Fort Collins, CO. Please feel free to respond on this post or you can message us. We are open to all suggestions and levels of participation.

Looking forward to a great gathering in the Rocky Mountains.

    Best Regards,
    Vacek

I’m in Broomfield and might be able to attend. Could be fun. I have met a couple lantern people from CCF in the area which had displays out at the yesteryear farm show at the Dougherty museum south of Longmont. We might be able to coax them along if we don’t coincide with the (excellent and highly recommended) farm show which is also in august.

There seems to be some interest so I will start visiting with Milehi on next steps. Dwarfnebula do you have contact info with the individuals who displayed their lanterns?
