Coleman 505 restore

    Thanks to @MrAlexxx - I have a 505 as well. Its a powerhouse given its size with a great simmer!

    That was totally my inspiration for my rebuild, I found a couple pics of your 502 in a google search, I must say your stove came out fantastic, and I loved the dark earth paint especially.

    I like your idea of using the truck bed liner on the base, the cerakote is not holding up as well as hoped.

    That’s surprising, I thought Cerakote was the toughest coating out there.
