    How many things can you find wrong with this?

    Sir would you please step away from the gasoline powered device!

    I've always maintained that one of the great things about youtube is that you don't have to actually understand the topic you're making a "how to" video about.

    This next one is much shorter.

    But funny in a different way

    I was hoping to see a few things... :twisted:

    1) Since he set up the stove so close to the dry leaves...maybe he would set the whole forest on fire;
    2) Since he was backstepping without looking...maybe he would step on his stove;
    3) Since he dripped so much fuel...maybe the flame would whoosh upto the camera itself;

    Since none of these happened, guy must be darn lucky, and his gene would probably pass down a few generations.

    And I would not stay near him, when he is pharteen around fire... :lol:

    What a retard. He obviously did not read the instructions that state "Fill the priming cup with fuel, shut off the valve, burn the fuel in the priming cup, and then light the stove". What was he trying to do when he was waiting for the "hiss" and letting all that fuel run out?

    Best Regards,
    HTG

    it's not even a whisperlite

    It's a simmerlite!

    The fuel bottle looks like it could be from the seventies.

    He states MSR provides the bottle... not lately...

    The "Manual"

    http://www.msrcorp.com/support/pdfs/SL-StoveInst_EN.pdf

    says 20-30 strokes of the pump... but what the hell

    Hello,
    So to put out the 'fire' you just dump the burning fuel on the ground? Don't let the priming fuel burn out completely. Oh wait, priming was pumping up the stove.

    It would have been better had the leaves caught on fire and his pants ignited and as he ran past the camera he knocked it over. The last frames would be him running with pants a blaze past the kids in the backround!!!

    www.darwinawards.com I go here when I feel depressed and generally come away feeling better. My own favorite is not an award candidate since she was in no real danger of dying but rates an honorable mention even so, you be the judge: Dispite several test runs the new Bayliner skiboat just would not get up and boogy. Cause, remove boat from trailer to improve water speed...........owner later quoted as saying " Riiiiight!." Hey you! Out of the genepool!

    My favourite was the chap in a one room Moscow apartment, mid winter, no heating, who sealed up the door and window to try and retain some heat. The deadly part was that because he was broke, he lived on canned sauerkraut and died in his sleep; he died of his own fart fumes :shock:

    THE dumbest things I've ever seen people do relating to fire is to PANIC and TRY
    to put it out when in many circumstances simply putting their hands in their pockets and taking a step back and leaving it alone would leave the situation under control...

    This idiot "dumping" the fire? why not just let it burn out?

    His attempting to "drag" the stove back onto the heat shield?

    I agree it would have been FAR more entertaining if the fuel he spilled
    under the camera had ignited...
