I am considering updating my optimus 207 adjustible burner to the 4 post Hanse burner. Can anyone confirm whether my extensive range of spare spindles, jets cleaning needles etc will fit the Hanse burner. Any recommendations regarding an affordable retailer would be appreciated. Basecamp appears a good starting point.
Looks that Base Camp is some difficulties to get Hanse burner (or their site has not been updated...): Optimus 207b burner exploded view Interesting that hytta.de seems to have old stock "Made in Sweden" 207B burners (or also their site is not up to date ) : Detailseite: Zubehör für Petroleumkocher- - hytta.de To your question my guess is that 207 parts would fit into Hanse burner.
Here is a instruction sheet for the Hanse burner (in German): https://www.toplicht.de/pdf/de/4325010.PDF
Thanks for the helpful replies. A few posts have referred to problems priming the Hanse burners. Is this a common problem??
Maybe it is not "a problem" but more of a feature. Hanse burner is done by casting and amount of brass to heat during pre-heating is bigger than in 'old' 207 burner. Same has to be done with 111C Cobra burner, which also has more mass than more lighter burner of 111, 111B or 111T.
