This is a fine example of a purpose built accessory. It looks great, and I am sure the tetrapod is very functional.

By the way, tetrapods were put in place in the 1960's at the breakwater, to protect the harbour in my home town of Oamaru, New Zealand.

The breakwater was built around 1870, to stop the natural harbour from silting up, and reduce the need for dredging.

A fun fact that is no use to anyone :)

    Cheers

Thank you Simon. If tetrapods are same shape all over the would it's very interesting.
Today's morning I enjoyed kayaking and came up with an ideal for wooden box.
Just start making prototype, wood and brass plus build-in wind shield.
    Few weekends I will fishi.
    Regards

@HONDA With your metal working ability I'm surprised to see you made the case out of wood. It looks nice though.
