Just got it since it was Optimus. And in it a 123 cup. Never seen this before, made in Finland, anyone that has some infon on them?
Could it be the 126 kit featured here? https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/1980s-optimus.10223/ and here? https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/1976-optimus-catalogue.9220/
Thanks, yes it looks like it. Just need to find the potholder and the correct cup!... a, and a new stove!
I have a couple NIB, but found the plastic cup to be brittle and non usable. I suspect the Optimus 126 set may have inspired the Trangia 28-T.
I saw that item on evilbay. Liked that it was Finnish, but didn't really need it, with the no-work situation. Did it come with a Svea 123 cap/cup or is that just for reference? Have fun with it.
bump OLD THREAD IMO it's a stretch to call Optimus 126 a "cook set" but ok There are 6 pcs: 3 bowls, lid, gripper and white plastic cup. The 0.75L bowl is the only piece that is marked, that text is OPTIMUS International, Made in Finland. While mine is in hand I can add some specs, 3 bowls filled to brim: 0.75L, 140 x 60mm 0.55L, 128 x 50mm 0.40L, 116 x 46mm Sm. cup, Etherman shows above and here's the quite sm. Optimus pot gripper, unmarked, the same one that comes with the 88, 99 & 199. As mentioned above the 126 is in the library: 1976 Optimus Catalogue and 1980's Optimus 1050 views
