I don't know about anyone else's M-1950, but I can sorta get either of mine (Both Rogers, a 1952 and a 1964) to "simmer" on Coleman fuel, on Mogas either stove will go out if the valve knob is turned "straight up". On Coleman fuel I can get the knob much lower before the stove goes out. AD
Speaking of which, I only have the stove myself, still need the container, wrench, etc. Actually talking about my 530 Coleman here. By design it only goes flat out but is hell for boiling water fast and easy starting, lol. I haven't tried throttling it with the cleaner tip, has anyone had any luck with that? Does it ruin the cleaner tip? Regards, Ed]
