    I picked up this nice boxed example complete with instructions. I'll post pictures of the instructions in the instructions area. Burns nicely even if the flame is a little off centre. Anyone know an approximate date of manufacture?

    @Robert Radcliffe

    SWEET!
    Congratulations on getting what looks like a NIB Baby!

    I also have a couple of these fantastic stoves, none of them in pristine condition like yours.

    Hi Robert
    In my mind it is the best stove in the world (like British Seagull outboard) for backpack, bicycle, canoe etc.
    The only weak point is the steel box; after hours of use it becomes burnt and perforated in upper part of walls by flame/high temperature.
    .
    approximate date of manufacture: this particular model is probably (confidence over 80%) 1965 or a few years erlier /later.
    I had used this model starting from 1965-66 for cuple of years. Box problem was solved by new box made locally from brass sheet - heavier a little but resistant. This stove was used and lost by wife`s family in the past . Now I have later model - different pan support and burner heater - but this is even not fired yet

    Thanks Marek, close to the same age as me then! Although I'm on the earlier rather than later side.
