Hello, I recently purchased an Aladdin M1942 stove and had a few questions. First, is it possible to get a new leather seal(is that correct?) and if so, where? The stove also does not have the label anymore, are there replacement labels? Is there an instruction manual that I can get that shows me how to fix any problems if I run accross any and how to opperate it? When I bought it, the seller said all it needed was a new seal but I have not been able to test to see if this is infact true. Thanks in advance, Nick
Nick, Join the club, sign in and then look in the members listing. There is a gentleman named: Handi-Albert. He makes them, I am sure he can take care of you promptly. He lives down under and I believe he sells them in packs of twenty. Never hurts to have spares. They don't cost very much and he doesn't make very much, i.e. packs of twenty. I believe it is more of a service to the folks that haunt these halls. Totally trustworthy fellow that manufactures outstanding product.
