I think these are 111T's, or maybe 111C's, and I would like to get both working so I was planning on replacing NRV's in both, the pump rod O rings, new fuel cap packing and SRV pip for the stove with a cap, new fuel cap, inner and outer cap for the stove missing those parts - what else should I order? Any other hints or recommendations appreciated. IMG_20201212_145600009.jpg

A possibility is that you sell the unfired one on the right, and it would pay for another used stove and all the parts you need.

Our sponsor, Thebasecamp has most of the stuff you need. Have you looked there yet?

I was going to try and buy what I can from the Fettlebox, and then get the rest of the parts from Basecamp. In addition to the parts I mentioned I will also need the NRV tool - anything else as far as parts or tools? Both these stoves were stored under poor condition, so I will flush the tank that doesn't have a cap with acetone.

Oops, my mistake. should have said Thefettlebox. Tools on evilbay, some are poor quality but may work for you.

You can easily make yourself some basic tools for removing NRV valves and jets if you do a bit of research. Perhaps then take one apart and reassemble it to familiarize yourself with all the parts. Get one stove running with some kerosene not much can happen really. Then you will know exactly what will be needed to buy to get the other one running.

    Good luck

I believe the multi tool that operates the valve spindle may be used to remove the nrv.

Yes, the adjustment handle is a very good tool for the NRV and the jet.
I would consider the use of acetone as risky. The effect on the paint can be noticeable.
A simple cleansing with denatured alcohol is enough in almost all cases.

Thanks, the multi tool worked and I was able to remove the NRV from one of the stoves - when out the NRV looked familiar, it appears to be almost the same as the one that came with the Hiker + service kit, as I hope the picture shows. The pip in the removed NRV seems fine, and the o ring is a tight seal in the tube so I will not replace those now.

Edit add: The new NRV from the Hiker + kit did not want to thread up when I tried it, but the threads look the same to me and the old one went right back in, there was also what seems to be chunks of graphite in the tank. any reason not to put high temp copper anti seize on any threaded parts?
