Hi Ken - the last ex. I saw that was sold on Ebay had (if I remember correct) parts of a similar torn label. I think it was put on from the factory - the font and style looks the same as on the 22/A to me.
Ed - steel is made from iron; iron ore is converted to iron by means of a combination of heat and a chemical 'reducing agent' - which separates the iron from the contaminents in the ore - and the commonest reducing agent used is coke, which is made from coal. In most countries, most of the power used to turn the iron into steel, and smelt the copper and zinc to make brass, will either come from nuclear power stations or oil / gas / coal-fired power stations. And the great majority of the trucks, trains, ships and aircraft which deliver the finished stoves will run on fossil fuels. Best regards, Gunner
