English gassie?

My friend Hervé encountered this gas stove, from a type I haven't seen before. It could be an english model, but not sure at all. No marks anywhere, only the overall aspect could help to identify this one?

I dunno. Could be the red, or the cup, or what, but something about it says Veritas, Falk Stadelman to me.

 

It looks vaguely familiar to me although I can't bring to mind what it is - probably one of my unloved gassie stoves lurking around here somewhere. The stove part is somewhat reminiscent of a Tilley T-Up (but isn't)...
