This filler cap came with a tag marked “butane”. It fits a Coleman stove (eg a Peak).

    I’ve not seen one before.

Rattling around in my head, I’m wondering does @teckguy_58 know about this?

    Cheers

It is indeed an Amish filler cap so one can use a bicycle pump to pressurize the fuel tank/fount.

Why do you think he (Kerry) put butane on the tag?

I made a similar one that I keep on the work bench. Handy way to over pressurize a fount when I'm testing for leaks after an overhaul. quicker than my usual practice of 60-70 pumps.

I agree that is an Amish cap for pressurizing with a bicycle pump.

Perhaps Kerry was experimenting with running butane in a WG stove?

    Tony,

I’m not sure why he tagged it as Butane unless he was trying to use Butane in various stoves.

I'd be interested in one if they made them for Svea/Optimus gas caps. Looking at the Amazon ad, it only got a one star review.
