    Hi everyone.
Has anyone bought one of the flame spreaders?
Are they a good idea or likely to overheat the stove would you say?

Are you asking about that perforated plate that fits over the pot stands?

I do not have one but others who have bought them seem to like them. No problems were mentioned.

There is probably going to be more heat reflected down (could be good or bad), so I'd keep just an eye on the stove. It is pretty easy to notice when these stoves start to ramp up --

If it gets to where you can't touch the tank for more than split second, time to shut down.
