This is not my idea. It's been done before for a Globetrotter. This is my modification for the earlier Camping Gaz Rechaud Bleuet stove, the cartridges for these are rare like Globetrotter ones.

The fastening straps of the original were replaced by longer ones made of springy steel strip. These were measured and made to fasten in a common C200 (190gm) cartridge. The cartridge extra length was marked (black line) so an extension collar could be made the correct height.

The extension collar was made from soft aluminium sheet, with just a large enough diameter to allow both the stove and the stove tin to slot in place.

To stabilize the extra height of the stove I made a stand from a key ring and three aluminium sections that locks on to the collar

It looks a bit ungainly, but no worse than a Jet Boil or MSR Windburner.

    Works well with no leaks

I arrived at the same configuration in THIS project Duncan, but utilising a Super Bleuet frame (retaining the Bleuet burner) and I fabricated an extension collar.

Sorry John, I remember someone doing the Globetrotter one but I forgot about your mod.
    Yours looks much more elegant!
