Alcohol is clearly confirmed by the manufacturer, it might have laminating or coating inside. Thanks for sharing photo. * May I ask the product of Origin? if it is declared on the bottle.
I can"t se where the bottle is made. I bought a optimus nova in early 2000. And the bottle came whit it. I don't have the pump so i use it on my primus multifuel ex .
I'd venture to guess that's the fuel bottle that accompanied the Optimus made Trangia multifuel stove burner. It looks VERY similar to the current one, apart for the Primus branding of that nowadays bottle and Optimus on your older one... Same double level line on both bottles... /Odd
I do not think it came with the Trangia Nova burner - all of mine came with Trangia labelled bottles Trangia Multifuel Burner although apart from the labelling, the bottle looks to be the same. Probably early 2000's?
With this graphics, the bottle was produced ca 2000 - 2006. There was an earlier version of the same bottle with different graphics sold with 11B (Explorer with bottle). The bottle was made in Spain. There used to be a sticker on the bottom stating "made in EEC" if I remember correctly. Trangia used the same bottle during this era but with their own graphics. The bottle was epoxy coated on the inside, so safe also for ethanol/methanol.
