Are there any schematics or tutorials showing the disassembly and inspection process?

Honestly, some time spent here, reading threads, and watching the procedures that a fettler does to check an old stove will be the best lesson.
If you already do not know what to look for, and how to correct it, I would caution you to take some time to learn.
Even the best here have had accidents with stoves that were "as manufactured". As in no defects. A 111B is a good example of the need to know how to remove and replace an NRV.
Pressure testing, and dunk testing are common "pre burn" steps.

    All the best,
    Ken

Uh yeah, I had a close call today as seen by the first time I lit the stove. It deserves a bit more respect than a Coleman from the 70s. In the future I will be considerably more cautious about lighting. But thanks Ill have a look and see what the folks who have experience are doing to repair their stoves.

If it's brass a radiator shop would make short work of a seam leak. If you can find a real radiator shop nowdays. Brass is fairly easy to solder, get it clean clean clean use lots of flux. And of course, get it really empty and rinsed of fuel.

Sure looks like you got too much fuel in the preheat cup. Obviously try less. Is also possible the valve isn't shutting off......I would fix tank, add some fuel, pressurize with valve shut...........and let it sit for a while and see if fuel comes out when it shouldn't.

There will be some good flames even done correctly, that is how the generator gets heated

Thanks, ill have a look around for a real radiator repair shop. It seems getting this working will not be a “slam dunk”

Interesting. I've encountered stress cracks in brass, but not pinholes.

Pinholes makes me wonder what fuel was used. Something corrosive to brass.

    Hey, @Wim , and @Majicwrench ,

Don't you Gents have an axe in your fettling kits??!! Why, EVERY Master Fettler has one, don't they??!!

The axe is handy for making those frequent tiny adjustments, when trying to get your stoves running like new!!

Now, go buy your own hand axes, and get to it, Mates!! ;)

There seems to be coil in it. Does it come out, or should I just try to get it flush with the generator tube? 36859187-2581-4C18-958B-AFBD41150A5E.jpeg

Coil should come out, but looks pretty carboned up. You are screwed though as it looks like the pricker wire is broken off or worn out on the shaft. :(

Um, I think the tip/jet of the generator is missing, or did you take it off?

Yeah I had taken it out and flushed it with carb cleaner. It looked even worse before I did that. 77BB15C9-AA19-4E64-9E27-F0799A209B9B.jpeg

I’ll let the generator tube soak in WD40 overnight. Maybe it’ll be easier to remove the coil.
