So much patina, have to leave it, Primus 96

I've been going thru my 96's the last couple weeks and this one has such a dark patina, going to leave it instead of even doing a vinegar bath. Worried too about a former owner possible repair to the fount bottom. Runs well. Soldered on bike clamp, one of two styles I have. Last photo, pressure turned down after it had been running. Going thru my 96's in succession, easy to notice the changes. Two had those ribbed bells, three in a row I think had the spanners with Primus stamped on both sides instead of Primus and Sweden. Still need a "H" = 1918 and a V8 to complete my 96's.
N = 1924.

I am not a “shiny” person…I like patina. It is part of the stove’s story.

Very nice stove! especially that Legs type is very nice I love it.

 

Thank you guys. Really fun seeing the older stoves running so well, as designed. This go round, noticing some of the changes, thicker spanners for one, a couple stoves with those, would make a good weapon.
