413D Fuel Tank.

Hi. Thanks for having me. First post.

Does anyone have any suggestions for where I might find a fuel tank for a 413D stove?. Bought one off ebay from Canada but it was a fake...not Coleman. Specs were all wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Old Coleman Parts (OCP). Measure the distance center-to-center of the tabs and the position of the valve the search through the tanks on OCP to find a match.

 

Ignorant seller maybe selling a different brand, buyer beware. OCP or one off of evilbay is a good source, yard sale.

Sorry to hear that. If item was grossly miss represented in the description the seller posted you may have a chance with Ebay. Item need to match description. Something like original 413D with original fount you will have a chance for claim. If it reads camping stove no chance. Note: title line can say anything , what description reads needs to match what is mailed.
This one is 413D and what looks like original fount. Fount is not marked so it could be fake? Could be repo 413B and oven for that matter!

 

I filed a return and was immediately refunded. This tellls me they knew they weren't above board with the listing.

I've never seen a repro Coleman tank or heard of such. Many Coleman tanks are not marked.

Good deal, you may end up with free stove. Seller need to pay for return shipping and that's not cheap for big stoves. If you do get free stove may what to put WTB ad for fount. There is a chart that has all the measurements for coleman founts . Maybe someone will add link or do a search yourself.
