This is a burner head made by a member of the Korea Stove Club. Exactly for 6A. As we all know, the 6A burner head has 15EA protrusions. 6M is 13EA 6K is 12EA Perhaps 3A is 13EA if you look at the picture file, but it is difficult to restore because the exact size is unknown.. juwel's burner head part number is 6A = 792 6K=1266
The 3A burner head is a 3-foot construction where the point where it meets the lipstick burner is not round. like this It's completely different from 6A. Currently restoring 3A. The burner head part is close to impossible.
@multi-cho is the 3A lipstick with replaceable jet? I think I have a 3A tank on which I have adapted a 6A burner. Here is the photo. Unfortunately the pump at a certain point was replaced. I have 2 6b, one complete and one missing the outer cap, would be awesome if your friends can produce some outer caps for us collectors. Thanks for your hard work! Nicola
@Nicola Francesco Elia I am so happy to see your 3A. First, add a picture of the lipstick burner you are curious about. In my opinion, considering the similarities between your 3A and my 3A, there is a possibility that 3A was produced together with 6A for a certain period of time. It is the only standard that judges the age by the fuel cap.
Hi @multi-cho, thanks for the photos! So this lipstick burner is very different if compared to the model 3 with silent burner displayed in the Juwel 6b post where you showcased your friends stoves. Building a replica lipstick burner wouldn’t be impossible starting from a 6A lipstick… Nicola
Additionally, I can say that the 3A uses a thicker brass, it is way heavier than model 6. Do you confirm this? Nicola
@Nicola Francesco Elia The 6B cap was made in small quantities by myoung sim, a senior at the stove group a while ago.I heard that the material is "SUS 316L".
Thanks for showing me the cap, I would be very happy to buy one or two if a new production will take place. Well that is a piece that could be made with 3D printing or on a CNC, I will see if I can produce some by myself. I doubt is a part that can be found anytime soon as original part, so the only way to have one is to produce it as you guys did.
Hi @Nicola Francesco Elia If you can make it here, you can make it there too. There are specifications and 3d images of the cap in the previous post. As you said, the 3A is heavy and sturdy. Compared to the original image, the burner head part, lipstick burner part, and fuel cap part are different. Therefore, it is thought that the 1903 3A was equipped with parts that changed little by little over the years.
@Nicola Francesco Elia The owner of 6M is Mr. Myungshim. As shown in the catalog, the size of the burner head is also small. The plate was made small with 6A as a sample. I had lent the plate to him at first. He made it in a factory he knew well.
@multi-cho I post this link also here if you missed it: Anyone heard of a JEWEL PATENT (not JUWEL) stove? More appropriate to continue here the discussion instead of posting on your Svea 8 post. Thanks
https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/from-hunting.31290/page-24#post-427684 Did you see this? Nicola
Thanks! On my 3 I desoldered the repaired pump to see what was below all that solder. I found a damaged pump tube location with a tiny crack on the border. Probably the original pump was damaged by a very bad impact. I didn’t find any thread so now I understand that a short tube with internal threads was originally soldered there. Anyway I re soldered the pump back and it cannot be brought back to original of course. Hope to find a complete one anytime soon in the next 10 years Nicola
@Nicola Francesco Elia I saw the jewel patent you gave me... Then I... This is a juwel patent. The engraving is different, everything is the same. However, I do not know if the integral support is brass.
