Looks great, nice job. Fired mine up today, needs a new wick maybe, but the vaporizer is pretty stuck and I don't want to crack it and the bell has a small crack and is worn from rust, so not a tight fit which would help with thermal feedback. Flame gets better the longer it runs and less yellow flaring. Duane
Hello again Finally succeed in dismantling the filler cap. I have a question concerning the part at the end of the spring. Should I remove all the black part (old washer ??)?
That is what is left over from the original pip, it needs to be completely removed, and replaced by a viton pip of correct size for the SRV to work again.
I checked the wick today. Here it is (see photo). As I’m afraid to dismantle the vaporizer from the tank I really would prefer not to have to change it… Yannick
That only shows what is in the fount, not what may be in the vaporizer and possibly burnt some. For rare stoves, I would leave it if stove will function at a reasonable level. Duane
Yes I understand. As I’m waiting for a new viton kit for the filler cap, I tried to screw a filler cap of a Primus 71 on the Campus and it seems ok. So I tried to fired the Campus but nothing happened…
New key for the Max Sievert Campus 3 : a 2,5 mm one is the perfect size. The 2,75 mm key of an old Svea 123 is too large.
Hello from France, I have finally received the new Viton kit for the filler cap. The Max Sievert Campus 3 is now working perfectly in my opinion.
