I really like the unusual burner. So I like this Svea-8. The 4 strands of blue flames spreading from the tubular head give inspiration a little different from the general roller-type stove.
@kerophile Hi Head 801 has a round fireball lip, and head 800 is a cutaway. Therefore, the 801 head is more complete. Thank you for your interest.
@multi-cho Fabulous stove and burner. Those tubular system roarer burners seem to be far less common than their silent burner siblings. I am not sure I understand regarding the differences between the 800 and 801 versions, I had thought they were simply the No.0 and No.1 size versions of the same design. If you could explain the differences further or post some comparative photos I will have a look and see which version I have. This is my flame pattern: Ian
@ROBBO55 thank you! @igh371 As far as I know, it's the difference between folding and cutting the cross section of the crater. Head 800 is the same as Victoria's.
@igh371 the no 8 uses a small 0 burner. So the difference is about the size and obviously some other minor details like the folding border of the spreader on the bigger version. Nicola
@multi-cho on the no 1 version on the side of the burner there is Svea No 1 inscription. On yours is possible to read something like Svea No 0? Nicola
