    For cold nights in a tent, when cooking is done and fuel is plenty; Høvik Verk Primus with silent burner, in front of homemade aluminium wind shield and reflector, with a stove-top heater on top of burner cap:

    Here's the Valor 55 heating up water for coffee this morning. :)

    In the past, I've had issues with this stove - it didn't pre-heat well, didn't run well, etc... But this morning, with the tank filled with water-clear "K1" kerosene from the local home improvement store, it started up easily and ran very nicely. :)
