Be sure to remove rust on the top where the male thread screws onto the stove. I may have messed up the threads on my MSR stove that I had to have repaired because the rust may have roughed up the start threads. Duane
I used some recycled MSR canisters that had been saved by a recycle center that a member traded or gave me. Some of them had rusty male threads. Duane
