For cold nights in a tent, when cooking is done and fuel is plenty; Høvik Verk Primus with silent burner, in front of homemade aluminium wind shield and reflector, with a stove-top heater on top of burner cap:

 

Robat-Avon meths stove.

 

out of all the different types of stoves, the meths ones are the best,

Hipolito no.2 arrived in the post today, added some paraffin, lit the meths, and viola...

Here's the Valor 55 heating up water for coffee this morning.



In the past, I've had issues with this stove - it didn't pre-heat well, didn't run well, etc... But this morning, with the tank filled with water-clear "K1" kerosene from the local home improvement store, it started up easily and ran very nicely.

Pre 1938 ‘Patent’ marked Optimus 00 with makeshift sheetmetal flame ring . Rescued and cleaned up . It was a right mess when I got it

Most humble apologies, as non of the flames in this picture are pressure stoves, but I thought you might like it none the less. And there are some pressure stove present..
