I picked up a used Primus stove with no markings other than PRIMUS. it’s larger than most PRIMUS models I’ve seen. It seems to be metal with some sort of gilded coating. I’m guessing a military model?
Hi Sean welcome to the CCS. What you have is a Primus made under license in South Africa. I have one that I inherited through my father from my grand father. The tank is made of steel and painted with gold paint. The pump cap and fuel cap are peculiar to S.A. models as far as I know. They burn well, as expected from any stove of that style. Get it going and post some photos, it will probably need the usual seals, NRV leather pump cup treatment etc. Plenty of info available on this site.
