I finally got my Norma E22 fired up. It will only work with this fuel, bioethanol. Any others would work but the flame would sputter out and extinguish, I assume because of impurities or water in the mix. Beautiful warm windless evening. I have posted this model previously in the gallery, Norma other models.

What’s it like to use indoors? Before we put a wood burning stove in we thought a bio ethanol fire was the answer!

ughhhh it stank! Running and on extinguish I had to put the thing outside it was that bad.

I used this outdoors and did not notice any odor at all. It was a calm night so any odors would hang around the stove . I have used methyl hydrate and it certainly produced a very bitter odor while burning and would irritate my eyes.
