What a little beauty ! Is it gravity feed kerosene ? Or pressure feed ? No Pump ? Would you kindly explain that filler cap ?
thanks. The covers look like pressed aluminium, whilst the shiny tank looks like stainless steel.

The cap has an SRV built into it, the stove is self pressurized an works on white fuel. Covers are pressed steel, painted with heat resistant silver. The tank is nickel plaited brass.

Similar to French Vesta, self pressurizing white gasoline stove. I'd like to own one but they rarely come available at any price.

Congrats & welcome to Valmet club!

Check that SRV works! It can stuck and pip could be hard as rock after decades of no use. When it is opened then spring could be too weak(='dead' spring) to keep SRV closed.

    Perkule Thanks.
    z1ulike Thanks.

SRV means the same as NRV ? Non Return Valve I assume.

" Vesta " I only know as Vesta matches, i.e. matchsticks. Must be some industrial history there somewhere, if it's the same company.

Vesta is the roman goddess of the hearth and fire . A name used commercially for many domestic articles and services . Major insurance company in this country
SRV = safety release valve if I am not mistaken

The spring in the SRV was weak, when the stove got hot, it lit a little candle on top of the cap. Made a new one from spring of a ballpoint pen.

I had same type of secondary flame on my Valmet. I stretched the spring and that solved the problem.

...The only place dark enough to take flame pictures.
..and with this little beast, I almost can heat up my little sauna. With these electric prices, it might be more cost efficient too!:?

Not large, but looks strong. What is the capacity of the tank?

Thanks. That's more or less what it looks like.
Interesting solution, for me, that the heat shield serves as part of the pot support. I like your cooker very much.
    Greetings

Tank capacity is 1,8 dl, so Afterburners estimate was spot on.
