    Just waiting for this little gem to arrive from the Netherlands ... It was originally the property of the Dutch Royal Army. The paper works marked, 1958.

    Looks a nice unit. Can you tell me what the difference between the 22 and the "campingo is please?

    Campingo was the previous model. It used gas or kero.
    The 22 used kero. (Or gas)
    The 22B used gas.

    @Dave Sherry ,

    @snwcmpr lays it out, nicely. To back up what he wrote, and to show the differences, here are two shots of those stoves, taken at a past CASG event:

    Here's the Campingo 2.

    And, here's a 22, at the same event:

    And, here's Sweet Bride and me, cooking up some good comestibles on the 22, at a past local camping trip.

    I hope that shows you have they compare, size-wise. Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    Thanks so much for your very helpful reply - Lovely shots and great to compare. There's quite an obvious size difference between them. The Campingo is reminiscent of stoves I used in the '70s in Hong Kong in the RHKR. I used the Optimus 80 as well.

    If I can trouble you further, what kit would I use to service the Campingo AND the 22? Are the burners etc. off other stoves so those kits can be sued or is there a specific kit for each model?
    - edited 'cos I can't spell.

    Campingo 2 is not as big as one might think.
