Another BAT 2 on the site. Bought for the equivalent of $ 12. The burner nozzle was clogged, I managed to push it through with a thin resistor leg. The pump seal was dry. The burner is now operational and a little refurbished with sulfuric acid and steel wool.

The reserve nut is lost. But I don't understand why the hole in the filler cap is so small. It is impossible to close the tank during transport with so small bolt...

Hi @Tomek Bat 2.jpg . There should be two threads in the plug. One. smaller,to fit the filler cap, and a larger one to plug the elevation tube for transport.
If you prick the nozzle, note that the hole is 0.32 mm in diameter. The pricking needle must not be too thick, because you can easily decalibrate this hole.
    Greetings

Thanks, I did exactly that. The plunger was much thinner. Well, I already understand with these threads. Now I have to check what these two threads are. And I have to dig out my mini lathe in the garage.
