Hi Everyone, Thought you'd like to see the Albion stove I bought from my friend Edgar at the weekend. Apparently it was new in the box and never been fired when he got it. All we did was put paraffin in it, fired it up and it started roaring like a good'un, so well pleased. I could give it a polish but I like it showing its age. Although the label on it says Albion, as it also shows stamped on the box, it's obviously the same as a Parasene, which is quite clear when looking at the label on the box, as you can see Parasene showing on the top of the stove image on the label. Hope you like the photos, sorry but no pictures of it running.....yet.
@Tim Read , Looks great, Tim! I think you will be well pleased with it, in use, and look forward to seeing it up and running! As an aside, my wife, Sweet Bride, has worked in Cornwall several times, in years past, and loved that area of the UK! Small World, for sure! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
Thanks Doc, something different to go with my Coleman 8/68 426D and Peak 9/83 401. I'm hoping to get it going Friday, depending on the weather, as need to cast some bullets for my muzzleloader.
Thanks Kerophile, I used your post on your Albion as a reference point when my friend offered me this one. I hope the photos of the box are a good replacement for the ones that Thomas originally posted but have since disapppeared. It was interesting to see 'Albion' stamped above the image of the Parasene stove on the box.
Hi Tony, no I don't, there's nothing on the box or the instructions, and my friend can't remember when he got it either
