A couple of interesting stoves came up on the local online auction site. The reserve price was a give away and they were listed in a slightly obscure category. So of course I put a bid on them.
I wanted an Optimus 111 to give me the full set of 8R, 111 and 22.
The other stove in the lot is potentially very interesting but the photo isn't very helpful.
Other collectors found them and I did end up having to pay more than my initial bid but still less than I was prepared to pay up to for them. Now I'm waiting for them to turn up to see if my guess on the mystery stove was correct.
I suspect they both will need work and I know that a seal kit for the 111 is readily available.
The photos attached are the photos from the auction listing.

    Looks like a Radius 43.

That's what I'm hoping it is.

It is indeed a Radius 43, A later 43E. It and the Optimus 111 are going to need a service. Does the Radius 43 have the same NRV as in the one/two pint brassies or Optimus 111/22?

    Nice score gnome.

I would expect to find the 1 piece molded pip that Optimus was using during that time period in the 111 so you'll need to get a little brass pip holder cup to use a conventional pip. I believe they are in the Fettlebox kit.

Radius 43's are rare in these parts and I'm sure they are in NZ too. Congrats
