Optimus 111B - Refurbished

Picked up this 1950's 111B from a local antique shop for £45 praying it was salvageable. Once the awful paint job went, I was surprised to see it was all in good condition and I may be in with a chance. A service kit from Fettlebox gave me all the perishables needed.
Unable to find a close match to the original green, I just went for a colour I liked and ended up with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze, which is actually a metallic grey. I think it gives the stove an industrial look with the different coloured metals.
The burner is slightly bent towards the fuel tank, but as you can see, that doesn't affect its performance burning Aspen. This is now my new favourite stove!

Thank you Knee and CW, the more I use it, the more I'm liking it. I've used Coleman Peak stoves for years at work, but they just seem functional and soul-less. But the Eleventy-one, love it!
