This is my Primus 34, date code M, made in 1923. The tank capacity is about 1 pint and is the same size as the model 210. Mine is fitted with a "deep-skirt" R132 silent burner and I suppose it is an appropriate burner for the 1923 model. The sister model is the 30, which is fitted with a roarer burner. It appears in the ca.1905 Swedish catalogue as "Nyhet" (meaning "new"). So, this model seems to have been introduced around 1905. On the other hand, I don't know how long the Model 34 was in production. When I checked the available Primus catalogues, it was listed in the catalogues until about 1936, but it seems that it was not listed in the catalogues after that. So, this model may have been discontinued its production around 1937. However, a Model 30 with a date code of AH (1943) has been posted in this gallery and it puzzles me. The production of the Model 34 may have been continued longer too, although it was not listed in the catalogues. Or, considering that Primus stoves were sold worldwide, it is possible that the models listed in the catalogues and the sales of the models themselves may have differed from country to country. Either way, it's one of the "headache missing pieces" for me. If anyone has any information / thoughts on this, I would appreciate it if you could let me know. Shinzo
