This Svea is missing a leg which I have, after soldering it back on, would you leave it as this lovely patina or polish it bright. Also where can i get a service kit & a top plate etc. Thanks 20230614_100513.jpg

    Hi @Del Allen

Welcome to the forum. Ross (aka @Spiritburner), the site owner has an excellent selection of quality washers and seals from The Fettle Box: https://fettlebox.co.uk/index.php and Ross will be more than happy to advise. You will also find plenty of helpful folks and a wealth of knowledge and experience here too.

Other non original parts may be found here: https://www.tilleylampsandstoves.com/

I notice from your postcode location you are based in Newark. Ross holds an annual meet not far away which you have sadly missed this year, dates for next year: Newark Gathering 7 - 9 June 2024 - Official Announcement

    Regards Jeremy

My opinion is that you preserve the patina. The soldering becomes part of the stove's history. Very nice stove with nice patina :content:
