Anyboady know anything about the stove and the burner brand? Burner writings in Italian.(unburnable steel export)
Hi (Ciao), the burner cap is by Vampas, another Italian brand, but most probably is a later replacement. I have never found an Astrua stove before and no results searching for this brand on the “marchi e modelli” italian register… but like it, there are many unknown brands in Italy so this could be one of them. An economy model probably from the 1960s. Ciao, Nicola
burner cap as later replacement is possible, but general conditions (almost unused) would suggest ASTRUA as an assembler of oarts, note the left hand pump. quite unusual.I would extend dating from 50 to 60, as bottld GPL quickly overun Kerosene for stoves fron early 60.
Yes 1950-60s is possible. For the burner cap, if not a replacement, maybe just a random part added by the store/reseller of that time… or maybe Astrua stoves were equipped with complete Vampas burners… I have found these burners used on many stoves. Remove the caps and see if the burner itself is branded Vampas as well. Nicola
