@Majicwrench , @Robert Radcliffe , I didn’t even think about the #4 single, because all of our discussion has been about the #4 vs.#8. I wonder if the #4 later model and or the #8 aren’t crossover models. So they built the #8 in the case that the later model #4 was built in, but because there was a change in the burner going from the pre-heat burners to the east-lite burners, they changed the model configuration.

 

But the #8 is a preheat model, and they actually put a "B" beside the 8's that had the easylite. I had never seen an 8 (B) with the easylite till you mentioned them
