Nice stove. One day I bought one for three bucks in a flea market, after a few years I sold it for fifteen bucks then I began to regret but it was too late. Maby seven years later I was in the flea market and I saw MY stove. The guy who bought it from me was selling it for twenty bucks. The 324 was mine again ,lucky me. Cooleman
Very fun, attractive stoves. @presscall didn't you do a wonderful write-up on these? BTW "Dear Santa" heard me, I must have been a good boy
@Majicwrench That’s very kind of you to say so Keith, thank you. I guess you had THIS post in mind. John
@snwcmpr Bit of a dead end as a stove design I’d say Ken, with contemporary Coleman stoves outstripping it on useability but their appeal for me as a collectors’ item is their complexity (construction/operation) and comparative rarity, many having suffered this fate … John
Perhaps beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At any rate, beauty is hard to describe. Little bling, nice colors, attractive.
At the time the safety recall of that particular model limited the appeal, and then they were soon pulled from the market. Not one of their better efforts.
I don't recall a recall (sorry) do you have any documents?? Have heard rumor that the 323 was an issue, but the 324 was fine (mine is 324)
Got one 323 and a 324 with box and leaflet. Could happily swap for a really good M1942 with accessorues os good 111T
