So since the Lixada pressure stove has fallen off the buyers map. I will show off the Iwalker that seems to be the same as the Lixada. Sort of!! One: I noticed the difference with the cap and fill port to the Font, the Lixada is female over male while the Iwalker is Male into female. Two: The Iwalker top rack mounts are welded on two sides whereas the Lixada is a single Spot weld, Never trusted spot welds and heat. Three: Noticed the silent burner cap itself into the bell is very much clamped into place by tabs, to the point I can't twist it to get it off.. Other than that I feel the major parts are the same. Boiled two cups in three minutes and when advancing to the cleaning needle it simmers better than turning it down. Quiet and efficient, I like it. Installed Welders Felt ring into the preheat tub, just to keep things in it's place.
Hi @Ramseybella is the stove still works well after 5 months? Is there any safety valve on the stove to prevent overpressure? Regards
Would any owner of this stove be kind enough to confirm the maximum diameter and height of it when stored? I have a 1 L stainless steel pot set with internal diameter of 11 cm and internal height of 14 cm and I'm looking for a stove that would fit inside. Thanks!
@Ramseybella Some other questions: does the stove come with some maintenance items such as extra gaskets? Are the wire supports solid and stable enough? Have you tried priming it with gas in the tank, Svea style, by warming the tank using hands and allowing a little fuel to leak into the priming cup? Is the vapour generator cleanable at all (I'll be using regular automotive gas as a fuel)? Does it work reasonably well without pressure pump and could it be adjusted to simmer? Thanks again!
@mcjtom this stove is available on aliexpress... according to the images , the stove should be 100mm diameter x 130mm tall when stored. so it should fit your pot with a little room to spare

I have a few of these and so far I really like them. One unique feature that differentiates them from svea 123r's is that these stoves don't use a cotton wick. Instead they have a stainless steel dip tube that runs to the bottom of the tank. Where the dip tube meets the brass valve, there is a small (1 inch/3 cm) brass mesh tube with a fiberglass core that inserts directly into the valve. This stove can be run bone dry with zero risk of damaging the wick. Also, the priming cup is DEEP, and I can get my stoves primed and started using very, very little alcohol. The fuel tank itself is much, much larger than a svea 123r, a very long burn time on these things. My newer iWalkers have more robust pot supports when compared to the older lixada. And stainless is a nice upgrade. From galvanized steel svea pot supports. As far as the fuel cap goes though... it's a machined aluminum cap, with a somewhat sloppy fit, and no pressure relief valve. The threads on the tank are made of a stainless steel insert that's brazed to the rest of the tank, no solder in these things. I imagine it's silicon bronze braze, as it's very copper colored and obviously cheaper than silver braze, but it looks VERY clean. Back to that dang fuel cap...it's the one thing that ruins an otherwise amazing stove. Stainless steel is much stronger than brass, the stove probably* doesn't require a pressure relief valve, the company specifically says not to worry about it because it's been tested, but still, a nice fuel cap with srv would complete this stove, and give many of us some piece of mind. If you're afraid to use the stove out of fear of safety, then how good can it really be?
I have no idea why Aliexpress won't ship the damn thing direct to the UK. Not when there is a stove that looks similar with a bigger silent burner and a pump (AG53) they will ship. I would have to go via an intermediary to get the G43.
I see the dimensions in metric, but for those of use who only read pictures- what classic stove is it comparable to in size? A 123?
Here's what I received today! I got a wind-shield, probably going to be very useful as the silent burner may be more prone to influence of wind. The stove fount looks to have been made completely of stainless steel. Mine did not come with the rubber base insulating ring, but I have a fibre-grass mat for the purpose. You get a collapsible silicone-rubber funnel and an alcohol bottle. The instructions are all in Chinese, but if you have used a SVEA 123R or Optimus 8R you know the lighting routine. The spirit-well is very deep more than enough to get some vapour pressure in the tank, even with a part-filled tank. My standard Trangia #27 kettle test. The stove boiled the water in 4 min in still air. Given that the temperature is 80F I immediately had a cuppa, to re-hydrate!
@Primus 96 Congrats this stove build solid with deadly simple simple operation. My brother own his Lixada and took it with many many of his trip, with basic maintainance.
I wonder how the diameter of the wind-screen around the burner of the Iwalker stove compares to a SVEA 123. It looks bigger. The 'footprint' of the Iwalker tank helps stability.
The earlier model, (G41) has a roarer burner. So I ordered a complete burner bell & I can swop burner heads as I wish.
Did you order a G41 roared burner from iWalker, or are you using a burner from something else? Very curious how this works out.
