SotM (Stove of the Month) August 2023

    The rules
    • Maximum of 2 pictures in the entry - one of which will be used for the vote. If your stove is listed in the Stove Reference Gallery a link can be added with your entry (not compulsory).
    • Stove must be presently owned by the member.
    • One entry per member.
    • Stoves that have won previously are excluded.
    NB - no theme, no requirement to post in the SRG, no requirement to be lit or working.

    This nominations post will be open for the month of August. At the end of the month the post will be closed & the qualifying stoves placed in a blind poll for members to vote for. The poll will remain open for 1 week. Most votes is the winner.

    The winner will get a SotM Winner notation on their posts & profile & a £10 voucher code from The Fettlebox

    Wow! Some excellent entries already...not sure that I've got much of a chance but you can't win if you don't play, so here goes!

    I've not had an extensive amount of stove fiddling time lately, so I figure I'm going to re-enter my Bat made with Meva parts. There is a bit of story in the SRG link on modifications I made to the box to properly hold the stove, so maybe that will earn some points from the voters?

    I have yet to register it in SRG, and i havent decided wether to polish or not...

    What a lovely thing that Aladdin two burner is Ben, the colour combination looks amazing, what fuel will it burn?

    My Dad had a Cortina MK1 in that colour green when I was about 11yrs old, it's registration plate was 'EMU***F', (I don't remember the numbers), Guess what we called her?, yes 'Emu'. :)

    @pirate The Aladdin burns kerosene. That color combination is what prompted me to buy it.
