I received this nice trivet along with a Primus 1 S (1914). I have not encountered one before. Maybe one of you has some knowledge?

I have two of these. One that is quite corroded by rust, and this one. I think this came with an Optimus No1.
    IMG_2677.jpeg IMG_2676.jpeg Presumably aftermarket stock?

@Magne Fahre Hi, yes, I Guess these trivets were after market replacements.

In any case Stanisław‘s one is not like your if that is what you meant.

    Cheers,

    Nicola

@Knee the little plates on the trivet look like they could be home made repairs or additions to adapt the trivet for a different stove to the one it was intended for?
The fact that they are not all the same also makes me think this?
    Nice Thing !

Those are the standard cast Optimus trivets from the 1920s (still available in the early 1930s). Peter

@Magne Fahre I took some blurry photos. You may miss some details.
@nmp Not excluded. Though this is the first time I've seen these patterns on the rims, too. I'll clean it up a bit from the corrosion and take a closer look. Maybe something will emerge?...

@abbahco1 Thanks. Now I noticed your answer. Great information. Are they in catalogs?

Yes, you'll see them on the site here in the catalogues from the 1910s & 1920s. Easily identifiable through the tapered slats and the "Made in Sweden" scratched on the underside. Here's a new 1S Optimus with trivet (still painted gold): Optimus No. 1S 1932
